Assurance of Quality
Gidget Training Institute are committed to delivering high-quality, evidence-informed education that meets the evolving needs of healthcare professionals working in perinatal mental health.
Our microcredential offerings are designed in accordance with the Australian National Microcredentials Framework (Department of Education, Skills and Employment, 2021), with a strong focus on:
Academic and Professional Integrity
All course content is developed and reviewed by qualified professionals with recognised expertise in perinatal and infant mental health. Content is grounded in contemporary, peer-reviewed evidence and clinical best practice (CoPE, 2017).
Industry Relevance
Each microcredential is designed to address clearly defined learning outcomes aligned with the professional capabilities required by psychologists, social workers, and occupational therapists. We consult regularly with sector experts and lived experience advocates to ensure relevance to both clinical and systemic practice settings (AHPRA, 2023; APS, 2018).
Transparent Learning Outcomes and Assessment
Participants are provided with clearly defined learning objectives, expected workload, and assessment criteria for each course, consistent with microcredential design standards (Department of Education, Skills and Employment, 2021; TEQSA, 2023). Assessments are designed to measure applied knowledge and clinical reasoning, with feedback provided to support professional growth.
Recognition
Our microcredentials are stackable and may contribute toward broader professional development pathways, including tiered certification programs. Digital certificates include metadata on learning hours, competencies, and outcomes to support professional recognition (TEQSA, 2023).
Continuous Quality Improvement
All training is subject to regular review through participant feedback, expert consultation, and updates to research, policy, and practice guidelines (NSQHS Standards, 2021). We welcome feedback as part of our commitment to reflective practice and continuous improvement.
We are proud to uphold high standards of accessibility, inclusivity, and cultural safety in all our offerings, and are committed to maintaining trust in the quality and impact of our microcredential programs (AHPRA, 2023; NSQHS Standards, 2021).
