Getting started
Who are these modules designed for?
Health professionals (e.g. Doctors, Psychologists, Social Workers, OTs) working with perinatal clients, with specific modules designed just for Nurses and Midwives.
Do I need to complete the modules in order?
The modules are designed to build on each other, but can be taken in any order.
What’s the difference between the nurse and general health professional modules?
The nurse and midwife module includes tailored case studies, videos, and examples relevant to nursing and midwifery practice.
What do I get when I complete a module?
A certificate of completion and a digital micro-credential issued via Learning Vault.
What is a micro-credential?
A certified, skills-based credential that recognises your learning. All of our modules meet the National Microcredential Framework requirements.
What happens when I complete all modules?
You’ll receive a certificate for the full training tier (e.g., Foundational or Intermediate Professional Certification in Perinatal Mental Health).
How do the micro-credentials work?
Each completed module issues a digital badge via Learning Vault.
Will I receive a certificate of completion?
Yes, for each module and for full packages.
Are these modules accredited?
They are aligned with national frameworks but not AQF-accredited.
Is there a free module I can try before committing?
Yes, we offer a free introductory module, HP105: Self Care and NM105: Self Care.
What does NM and HP stand for?
Modules with NM in the module code are for Nurses and Midwives. Modules with HP in the module code are for Health Professionals.
Can these hours count toward my professional development?
Yes, they can be used toward CPD requirements, but participants should confirm with their registration body prior to enrolling in the modules.

How long do I have access to the modules after purchase?
Unlimited access.
Do I need to attend live sessions?
No, but modules assume a health professional background.
Do I need any prior knowledge to start?
No, all learning is self-paced and online.
I don’t have much time right now…can I start module a later?
Yes, start any time following enrolment and payment.
Do you provide accessibility support for learners with specific needs?

If I purchase the foundational Professional Certificate in Perinatal Mental Health, can I upgrade later to the intermediate?
These are two separate professional certificates with distinct requirements for completion. It is not possible to upgrade from one to the other but you can complete both.

What happens after I make a purchase?
You’ll receive instant access and a confirmation email.
I purchased the wrong package/module—can I switch to a

No, each licence is for individual use only.
Can teams or organisations purchase the modules?

Can I pay in instalments?
Currently, we do not offer instalment plans.

How do I access the courses after I purchase them?
Via a secure login link sent to your email.
Do I need any special software to complete the modules?
No, just an internet connection and web browser.
Can I complete the modules on my phone or tablet?
Yes, they are mobile and tablet friendly but they have been designed for completion on a desktop setup.
I am experiencing issues accessing videos or quizzes. What should I do?

6. Can I get a refund if I change my mind after purchasing a module/s?
No refunds are offered after purchase.

You’ll earn a stacked micro-credential and receive a certificate in Intermediate Perinatal Mental Health, showing you’ve completed a comprehensive level of training.

Can I download the materials?
Core content is not downloadable, but resources are provided.
